Kapalua Bay Villa 30B3

We found the unit we stayed in to be amazing. Everything we needed was here, everything updated and exceeded our expectations. Views of the ocean were perfect. Could see many turltles from our balcony and swam with them at the beach.

Well organized, only issue was washer dryer needs to be updated

We could not have been happier with this condo. The most beautiful view we’ve ever seen. Clean, updated accommodations; the most comfortable beds. My kids loved the quick walk to amazing beaches for boogie boarding and snorkeling. We enjoyed dining out every night and never having to get into our car! This was paradise.

We just left and already wishing we were back at 30 B 3! Gorgeous property with incredible views and walking distance to all our favorite spots. Very clean and the property provided everything we needed and more! We will be back!

We absolutely loved this property. You cannot beat the views- unobstructed ocean views and an amazing sunrise every morning. You can hear the waves at night as you fall asleep. 5 minute walk to the closest beach (Oneloa) with fun waves for the kids. 10 minute walk to Kapalua Bay for a calmer beach with great snorkeling - turtles swim up to knee deep water! Walk right out of this property and you're on a really great walking trail. Place was very clean, beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in- even my husband noticed and he never notices things like that! We had internet connection issues the day we arrived and we reached out to Parrish management- they replied immediately and had it fixed in no time at all- very impressive service from them. I would not hesitate to rent from them again and am so glad we did. One thing to know is that it is very windy- that's not anybody's fault- but it did keep us from sitting out on the main balcony and upstairs one too. The side bedroom one is less windy and more usable so that was nice to have. The view is so amazing though and it's all glass windows so the wind didn't matter to us! I hope to return to Maui and stay here again some day!

When we walked in, I immediately felt like home away from home. Everything was clean and welcoming, the views are fantastic, and we had everything we needed to get right to our vacation without worrying about a thing. We cooked in some, we ate out some, we used the beach and pool stuff included and our family trip was everything I needed it to be. Perfectly located within the property for easy access, quiet when we wanted it to be and friendly with other guests when we wanted that instead. We loved it and will be back!

Grounds are well kept, it’s a good area. The beach was so clean, best sand around. We sat and watched sea turtles in the cove for hours. Sunrise and sunset views are pristine. Was the mental break we needed, my ONLY negative issue was the air conditioning. It kept disconnecting itself multiple times through the day. Coming home to the main floor being 80 degrees was a bit much. Other than that, no issues.

We’ve stayed at other Bay Villas and this one beat them all. It was clean and had a few extras like coffee and filters plus beach chairs and beach towels. There was a quiet beach just a short walk away. But the absolute best thing was the view. The view was breathtaking and cannot be beat. The only negative is the floor plan....which we didn’t understand from the photos. It is two bedroom....but one bedroom (the master) is actually loft style so the room is missing walls so there’s no privacy. That being said we would still gladly book there again.

This villa was perfectly located. We enjoyed a week of stunning ocean views from every room. The week we were there, there were unusually strong , unrelenting trade winds all week , so we were unable to enjoy any of the stunning lanais. That said, the Kapalua Bay beach was a quick walk from the villa and was protected from the winds, allowing us to enjoy the beach during sunny days. The villa was clean and well equipped. It was great to find 4 beach chairs, and although we rented snorkel equipment, there were also some fins in the closet. It would have been nice to have more information about the villa and how things worked. We had trouble with the living room tv and the instructions provided were incorrect. A guest book with some shared experiences would also be a nice touch. All in all, I would highly recommend this villa .

We could not have loved this beautiful condo more. Fabulous views all around. Could see whales from our deck and we really enjoyed having the Kapalua Coastal Trail in our backyard. The tennis court is so close and even has ocean views too. We enjoyed the pools and walking over to dinner at the Montage. Really was the perfect place for my family of 5 to stay for the week.

Great spot, easy to rent, easy access when arriving. My wife thinks this unit is the best of the Bay villas. A few minor issues, only 3 outside chairs, only one lounge chair on upper patio, no pot holders. The location is right in coastal trail so plenty of hikers go in front of unit but no issues. One of the best if not the BEST vacation rental we have ever stayed at. The location is the best. Security, quiet, relaxing, and access to the best scenery on Maui. Waking up with the ocean breezes, watching the whale activity, listening to the break of the waves upon the shoreline. What else can you ask for in a Hawaiian vacation? We are already looking at next winter and will be bringing our families with. To good to not share this location with those you love. Don't know if it was Covid related or the time of year but the beach and the three pools on site, all of which are were only a 5 minute walk from our Villa, were not crowded st ll. It was like having your own private retreat. Thanks to Aloha Vacation Villas and their staff for a outstanding 12 days of relaxation and luxury. You must dine at Merriman's and have the fish taco's at the Burger Shack.

Spent a week at this awesome property! The views were spectacular and the whale watching incredible! The two story accommodations were very comfortable and included everything we needed. We enjoyed using the pools, playing pickleball, walks along the ocean and going to the beach.

Clean, Safe, Beautiful, No Insects, Fabulous Views.

While this was our third stay at the Kapalua Bay Villas, 30B3 was by far the best.The Villa was absolutely beautiful, well appointed and provided spectacular views of the ocean. You could hear the pounding of the waves against the lava rocks as it was so close to the water. When returning to Maui we will definitely stay at this unit.

This beautiful oceanfront condo was our dream retirement vacation. The crashing waves over the rugged coastline was often all we heard and it was spectacular. The condo’s views went on for miles and we enjoyed sitting out in the deck watching the sunrise and sunset every day. The inside was a perfect set up for us - two couples. From the check-in to the check-out, our interactions with the property manager were timely and helpful. We just love this spot on Kapalua and hope to visit again!

We loved our stay thoroughly.

despite being a condo, we felt surprisingly on our own as this condo is ocean front and leaning outward so that we had >180 degrees of unobstructed kapalua bay views. Made for incredible sunrises and sunsets. The tide pools just in front of us were beautiful to behold and we enjoyed watching turtles floating in the cove from our balcony. The kapalua coastal trail is steps away and there are 2 world class beaches just a short stroll away.

The condo is very clean, modern, and comfortable. The floor plan is open and spacious which was perfect for our family to have space and still be together.

Good wifi, nice functional kitchen, great bathrooms, comfortable beds. Essentially all of the pluses of a resort (including 2 small community pools looking at the ocean) but much more private and comfortable. Would love to come again.

We’ve stayed in Kapalua Bay Villas several times, always Gold oceanfront. However this villa is at another level. The views are absolutely spectacular. This unit is equipped with everything you need and the half million dollar remodel a few years ago shows in the quality of everything in this unit. Oceanfront views abound. Just a fantastic property. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

What a great place. We will be back in 2 years. Kitchen had everything we needed. When we needed assistance it was quick to come. There was also a book there my kids used and discovered some off the beaten path water falls. Condo was spacious and totally comfortable. AMAZING view! Super clean!

We had the most wonderful anniversary trip to Maui, and the villa was the absolute highlight! The views were stunning, the grounds were beautiful, and the Villa was simply beautiful & well equipped with everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here! .

We love this complex and area of the island. However it’s important to note that if you will be regularly driving to see a lot of the attractions, it is a bit of a drive - about 45 minutes to mid-island. The resort is fabulous with multiple pools and amenities. Plus a shuttle which will take you to many nearby areas. The villas has spectacular views including a little cover where turtles played daily. Easy access to the beach. Lots of beach toys in the unit in case you don’t want to pack your own, including beach towels. Comfortable beds, clean linens, nicely equipped kitchen. Loved having a washer/dryer. We actually came home with very little dirty laundry! However, I think the washer/dryer is on it’s last legs. Would highly recommend this place fir a small family. Note, as it’s not clear in the pictures, that the master bedroom is a loft. So if people are up and about downstairs, the sound will travel up. Fortunately, we all typically went to bed and got up at the same time.

So close to the water that you'll feel ocean water from the balconies. View so amazing that a constant stream of hikers will stop in front to take pics. So close to water that you can hear and feel the waves hitting the rocks. Villa was very clean and in great condition. Several snorkel gear and 4 beach chairs available. Pool and bbq grill were just above the parking outside the villa. Kapalua beach was an easy walk (and probably Napili but we didn't try.) But take short cut thru parking lot instead of trail. Another beach to the right close by (don't know the name). Went to Joey's Kitchen a lot for meals located less than 10 min drive at Napili Plaza. There's a Boss Frogs and grocery in same plaza. Also several restaurants nearby. Just a very special place and we feel very lucky and blessed to have stayed there.

We have stayed at several villas in Kapalua and this was by far the best. Very nice furnishing and the view was simply amazing. Came with my parents who are older and it helped them not having to go up any stairs. Beautiful property and well managed.

An absolutely stunning view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching whales while eating breakfast. The property has everything you would need or want, with the coastal trail right outside, beautiful beaches within a short walk, and stores nearby. A real treat!

There is nothing bad I can say about our rental everything was amazingly perfect

This is our first time staying in Kapalua. We typically stay on the west side of the island. The views were exactly, better than, what was shown on the listing. The condo was clean and up to date. We had no issues checking in or while we were there. If we stay in Kapalua again we will stay here for sure.

Beautiful Condo on the waterfront. Views of crashing surf and a few whales

The condo unit was very nice and well appointed. The views were spectacular and the main reason for our choice of this particular unit. We did not leave disappointed. I had emailed Aloha Vacation Rentals for suggestions on activities, but received no response from them. We booked some activities on our own. We had a problem with the smoke detector beeping one night - called the management company when they opened and problem was rectified within 2 hours of the phone call.

This property is exactly as advertised, if not understated in terms of location. We love Kapalua and this is the best location in the resort community. The whale and ocean watching is so rewarding and inspiring. The furnishings inside are a little unimpressive, but certainly adequate. The check out time is early (11a), and the property management does not allow any exceptions. This meant we had to purchase another full day to stay until 5p, (even though it was unoccupied for a few days after our departure) which seemed a little excessive. Construction happening in the unit next door was somewhat noisy. All in it is a great property.

Amazing 180 degree view of the ocean! This villa is in a great location in the Kapalua Bay Villa property. An easy walk to Kapalua Bay & Napili Bay. The villa is modern and bright; everything is clean and new. There were 3 of us traveling together and it’s unanimous.....we will stay here again!

Kapalua bay villa experience was amazing. Great location. Relaxing. Quiet. Close to walking trails and easy walks to snorkeling beach where we saw turtles and so many fish. This was our 3rd year staying in the 30B Ocean Front Villa. The location and ocean view from the unit is unbeatable. The condo was always really nice but is now outstanding since the renovation.

We rented this unit for 10 nights and were completely satisfied and pleasantly surprised. The unit itself has one of the best locations in Kapalua with views that made it hard to leave for our outings. My husband and I took the upstairs master suite which was HUGE and beautifully appointed. There was a separate sitting area looking into the water (the room pictured with this unit). We left all of the blinds up and woke up to the ocean surrounding us. The lower suite consisted of a good sized bedroom, a very large and fully remodeled bathroom, and another bath with shower. Our daughter, her husband, and their son stayed in this suite. We added a rollaway for our grandson, which made the room a little tight, but they were so happy to be joining us, there were no complaints. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware and appliances. A nice surprise was finding beach towels and brand new beach chairs for our use. We would definitely rent this unit again. The only maintenance issues that need to be addressed is a loose outlet in upstairs master bathroom and a loose screen in downstairs guest bath.

The. Location was awesome, but the unit was only ok. I’ve stayed in units before that keep some basics like salt & pepper or other basic staples. Nothing was here except coffee filters. Also, we did see several roaches, so time for pest control. There was also a loose outlet in the master bath that needs attention. The bed was comfortable.

Whales galore! The most spectacular views ever! Our favorite of all the Villas so far!

Windows dirty and several do not open. Furniture worn and not comfortable. TV upstairs did not work but fairly quickly replaced. Paint very worn and peeling. Needs major update and repairs!

Our family has been coming to Hawaii for over 40 years; hiking, camping, renting houses and condos. This villa was exceptionally nice. Management company was very responsive and everything went smoothly. We all loved this place.

Great stay. Neat location. Unit is shopworn. Needs a lot of internal and external work re salt damage. i.e. rust and dry rot. Hide a bed needs replacing and dining room table could stand refinishing.

This is our third stay at various Kapalua Bay Villas. We love it there, by far this is the very best of the 3. The views are outstanding from just about everywhere in the villa. Walking distance to Napili cove with spectacular snorkling turtles, eels, beautiful fish. Dinner at Sansei is a must for us every visit and does not disappoint. We had an outstanding vacation, one of the best.

Wonderful ocean views and sound at night . Spacious appartment,beach house Style. Seems partly refurbished,very clean and comfy.Only drawback: kitchen lacks basics,such as salt,papper etc

This condo was all we hoped for and more. We spent hours just enjoying the expansive view up and down the coast. Also a great place to see sea turtles pop their head up below. Very relaxing.

Relaxing in True Comfort!

Terrific condo oceanside with unimpeded views of the ocean. Open the windows and you'll hear the surf crash throughout the day and night. The condo is laid out well - 2 BR and 3 BA. The downstairs BR has an ocean view too, and a lovely patio/balcony ocean-facing. The upstairs master suite faces the water. We spotted multiple whales from the balcony (here in mid-Dec). Great spot. Totally recommend.

I had to clean the inside and outside windows when we arrived, then the outside everyday after. The tile floors were always damp in the morning because some of the louvers wouldn\'t close completely. lower bedroom balcony door was seized shut. We had ants and cockroaches daily. Windows are hazed/pitted/scratched. kapalua bay is excellent for snorkeling only 10 min walk away and better weather conditions than the condo. Easy hiking/walking trail below the property. interesting experience.

Great property, great views. We were more than happy with the villa. Main bedroom was enormous. Dealing with Aloha Vacation Villas was 5 star service. Thanks Vicky. Would definitely use them again. For Aussie visitors a kettle would be the only thing missing.

Outstanding property in a beautiful location with easy access to the remote north shores of west Maui & 15 mins to Kannapali and/or Lahaina. Better than 180 degree views of the Pacific, Molokai and the north Kapalua shoreline. Watch sea turtles from the balcony and depending on time of year...the whale watching would be epic! Truly a special spot! As for the unit itself, it was as described. Surely some updating is needed, but everything was fully functional, clean & well appointed. Never needed the AC for our 8 day stay...open the windows and enjoy the constant sea breezes & sounds of the surf flowing thru. The location, views and easy walking access to both Kapalua Bay & Oneloa Bay (Ironwoods) is perfect. Kapalua Bay great for beach activities (snorkeling, paddle boarding, restrooms, etc.) while Oneloa Bay (Ironwoods) very secluded, beautiful, but no amenities & constant surf. We preferred Ironwoods...as we were the only ones on the beach other than a few surfers on the far north end of the beach. Also be sure to make the walk down to the Cliff House and secluded shoreline & tide pools.

When we return to Maui...we'll be staying at the Kapalua Villas! Thanks for an epic vacation we\'ll never forget!

It isn't a Gold unit and hasn't been updated recently but it was clean and it's view and location is special.

The unit definitely needs updating as nearly everything is eighties was also very apparent that the unit had not been cleaned in quite some time. This was evident from the dust and dead cockroaches in several locations. The old white appliances were pretty rusty as well.
The location is truly remarkable. We watched whales from the balcony nearly every day.

Excellent location and spectacular views. There were times we saw multiple whales breaching at the same time. Right on the Kapulua walking trail. The unit is exceptionally spacious as it is actually two units that were remodeled into a single unit. Two full master suites. Would definitely come back.

Wow what a wonderful time and you just can't beat the view

The folks at Aloha Vacation Villas are very easy to deal with and quite accommodating. We have stayed at 6 different Kapalua Bay villas, but 30b3 has the most spectacular view. The air conditioning for the second floor bedroom is weak on the hottest of days, but they cautioned us in advance.

The view from Bay Villa 30b3 is simply spectacular! We loved everything about the villa and the location. Jake, the on-site manager, was extremely responsive and helpful. We can't wait to return!

The photos posted don't even begin to capture the magical location of this condo - it really is a 180 degree view of the coastline, with almost the entire island of Molokai visible on the horizon, and you actually get to see both sunrise and sunset (the latter over Molokai). My husband and I, along with our 3 kids, stayed here for a week in March 2015. Gorgeous lava cliffs right out the windows crash and spray, and a really nice (and very uncrowded) Oneloa Bay beach is about a 2-3 minute walk down a pretty path to the north. Great for boogie boarding, too many waves for snorkeling. Kapalua Beach is calmer and a 5-10 minute walk down to the south (and good snorkeling right off the beach). We could watch whales from our balcony and all the windows most mornings. The trail outside is rather busy in the mornings, but it didn't bother us. Condition of beds and bedding was really nice, sofa bed is a typical sofa bed, but there was a nice queen air mattress that we discovered that helped for the kids. Outside balcony is narrow, but comfortable enough for sitting, there's a second deck off the second bedroom. Upstairs and downstairs are covered in huge windows that provide spectacular views from almost anywhere in the condo, including the 2nd bedroom (which is quite big). Very spacious feel. Overall very clean, some furniture (other than the beds, which were super-comfy) was a little worn but not much. Typical beach-home damp damage in the corners, but again, not much. Someone earlier posted about rust on the fridge - rust was only on the outer plastic of the door and the inside was pristine. We were extremely happy with our accommodations - they exceeded all our expectations!

This is the second time we have stayed in Kapalua Bay Villas and we like the area because the condos are low rise and there are less people compared to the more popular areas to stay in. Walking into the condo you immediately see how spectacular the views are from both floors, especially the second. The place was immaculately cleaned and in order ready for our relaxing 10 day stay. We were there in a stormy period which let itself known by the angry surf and several drafty windows. We came to see Humpback whales and were never disappointed with the shows they were putting on. The pool area is nearby and nice and the walking trail is just in front of the unit which made going for walks very easy. The grounds are immaculate which was evident from all the hard work being done. The overall condition of the condo was nice. The bedding was comfortable which is one of the most important parts of a vacation. The A/C worked very well even though the outside temperature didn't always warrant it's use. The kitchen was a little disappointing as the older appliances could use some updating to warrant the "Gold" rating. The washer and dryer appear to be on their last legs with the washer sounding like an old car's engine running out of oil and clunking during the cycle. Overall, we were very pleased with the area and the condo, and extremely happy with Aloha Vacation Rentals. It was nice knowing what the condo looked like when we booked it which is far better than booking through Outrigger. We would highly recommend them and will use them again the next time we venture to Maui.

My god-daughter and her husband shared this condo with us. We were impressed the moment we stepped in the door. The view is breath taking. The condo itself is so spacious and the furnishings are lovely. This unit has been kept in very good condition. Jake, the owner of Aloha Vacation Villas was always there if we had any questions or needed to know how something worked. I could tell he had been in the management business for a long time and handled everything in a very professional manner. I recommend this unit to anyone that wants to have an un-forgettable vacation. We would definitely come back and request this condo.

We had a wonderful week at this property. We spent every morning at breakfast and evening at cocktail hour mesmerized by the waves crashing on the rocks right below us and the ever present whales breaching and tail flopping. The kapalua shuttle service was wonderful, especially for dinners at merrimans and sansei. We recommend swimming at DT Fleming beach (pure sand bottom)with lunch at the ritz beach club. Kapalua bay beach is great for snorkeling but a bit crowded.

A very dated and over priced villa: - there were no dressers in either of the bedrooms, had to leave clothes in our suitcases - the large closets were locked out in the downstairs bedroom and the one closet that was left unlocked was so full of junk that it had to be cleared out for room to hang up shirts - the furniture in the living area was terrible, old and uncomfortable - the balcony is basically unusable for relaxing on - its approximately 3\' wide - we have been staying at Kapalua Villas for the past 15 years and this place was the most dated i.e. the fridge door has been spray painted to cover up rust that is still obvious - downstairs bed, sheets and pillows need to be replaced - very little privacy due to the ocean front trail that was added a few years ago and while I realize that this is not the owners fault, it still feels like you are living in a fish bowl with the constant stream of hikers walking past the villa all day long - the washing machine is ready to disintegrate Would never rent this place again. W

We've stayed in Kapalua for years and this was the best unit we've ever stayed in! The view is beyond belief upstairs and down. The pictures don't do it justice. Clean, nice and well stocked. Only down side was the upstairs doesn't have air conditioning so it can get a little warm, but there are ceiling fans. And beds were a little stiff. But the bedding was nice. Will definitely stay again!!

Wonderful vacation thanks to Kapalua Bay Villas. Some disappointment with condo switch from gold to silver on day before arrival but thought staff handled it in very professional manner.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this spectacular bay villa, overlooking the ocean and the cliffs below. It was the perfect setting for a family gathering of our two twenty-something daughters, who we rarely see anymore. Of course, they were more than willing to meet with us at this beautiful Villa in Maui.....we were able to spend very high quality time together in this spacious unit with the absolutely spectacular views and the comfortable.accommodations. My only complaint is that it was not as clean as I expected it to be when we arrived, and the washer broke down during the visit, and they never fixed it during the visit. We overlooked those petty things, because the experience gave us lifetime of memories. We would love to return, and thank you.

The air conditioner was not functioning for the upstairs when we arrived. It was fixed(sort of) but the upstairs never really got cool. Fortunately the folks for upstairs were ok except for one night. Did not recall but it needs to be reevaluated. The cleanliness was an issue for all of us. There was much detail cleaning that needed to be done. Refrigerator in and out . All blinds need to be replaced old and worn. All louvres on doors oated in dust. I will say the views were awesome from the main area!!!

View from villa was great! The villa itself had a great layout and ample for our four. Furniture was nice but fabric could use a little cleaning. Floor is gorgeous travatine thru out , and carpeted only upstairs. We really like location and didn't t mind brief walk to beaches. We love Kapalua area a lot and would rent again in a heart beat if just spruced up a bit. Views could not get any better than here and I can just imagine watching in winter! Aloha Vacations went flawlessly.....Vicky and Jake are always available!!! Truly a remarkable place in an already gorgeous setting!!!

We recently spent 10days at the Kapalua Bay Villas. It is the 3rd Trip to Kapalua for our family of 5, (3 teenagers). The Kapalua Villas are a great value, this is the first time at the Bay Villas (previous Ridge Villas ocean view). The views from Unit 30b3 hit you as soon as you open the door and from every room it is spectacular. This unit is not Gold (normally I'd say pay up for Gold)but it is a close Silver and the views put it over the top. There is no free access to the Kapalua Spa that my family has enjoyed in the past, but the pool for the Bay Villas is right next store and almost always emtpy and great to use after coming back from a day at the beach. The pictures don't do this unit or it's view justice. I was so excited when I walked in and took my first look. Working with the property manager was breeze, accomplishing everything with an email or two. We extended twice without any hassle. The complex was quiet and beautifully maintained. While it was not a problem for us, I could see older folks having a problem getting in and out of the showers off the bedrooms. After opening the louvers (there are lots) we had wonderful ocean breezes. While there's nothing the owner can do about it, it would have been nice if when the property was originally built they had made the balconies deeper. Considering the view you get for the effort to move around people already seated, I'm not complaining. We would stay here again.
