Kapalua Bay Villa 18G2

The condo is in a prime location and is a premium property. It is spacious, private and had a great view. It is close to great beaches and lagoons for snorkeling. It is close to restaurants and is in a beautiful part of the island. It was clean and the check in process was easy. We had a great time there and the property was perfect. My only concern was the added cost and complexity of the Parrish Property management. We rented through VRBO but had to constantly deal with Parrish. VRBO and Parrish were not aligned on receipts for payment. We had to sign an additional waiver for Parrish. Its like we had two rental agencies. I much prefer a property without Parrish as a middleman..

Absolutely gorgeous property with fantastic amenities! Property was located walking distance to numerous popular trails and beaches. Overall, outstanding stay! Hope to be back soon

We enjoyed our stay and this condo is beautiful. Well appointed and great, sweeping ocean and beach views. It appears they are starting to build on the big lot next door, which will likely change the views quite a bit. Plus there will be construction for the near term.

The location of this villa is hard to beat. Gorgeous views and the villa was beautifully decorated. We hope to come back to this exact villa.

The views of the ocean were stunning the minute you walk into the property. The place was clean and well-equipped. I loved the location, the proximity to the beach, and the location was super convenient to restaurants and most places. Parking was easy as well and overall really enjoyed our stay. Will return in the future!

This place was truly great. Amazing location, amazing views, very short walk to the beach, and very close to the Montage (a great, short walking trail to get there). Hang out or boogey board on a more 'wavy' beach which is a short walk and then down some steps or you can walk to the Montage beach and snorkel on their amazing snorkeling bay (We did both). Will def. stay again.

My husband and I loved our condo. The parking was easy, and the condo was clean and beautiful. The back patio was quiet and amazing. If we ever return to Hawaii we will have to stay there again.

Stayed here as an end to our two week vacation after the rest of our family went home. The property is amazing. Very clean and more than we expected. Views and scenery are breathtaking. Very close to golf, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Needs warning about steep stairway to descend to reach unit. Very difficult for a senior hauling a travel bag. Instructions needed for kitchen appliances and for thermostat. Map of complex showing access to garbage, beach, pools, tennis courts needed. Does Hawaii recycle? If so, instructions. Note: we did not receive correct gate code to access complex: had to call management.

We always enjoy staying in Kapalua. This would have been our 6th or 7th stay in the Bay Villa’s, about our 16th or 17th trip to Maui.

Agree with everything in the other reviews, great property and amazing view. The amenities were perfect and the furniture was very comfortable. There is a shuttle available to take you to area restaurants, groceries stores are easy to get to and many bars and restaurants are near by to enjoy.

The place was ideally suited for easy access to to beach, hiking, golf, etc. When we walked in door we were greeted with breath-taking ocean views. The rooms were comfortable, the master bath was great, and loved the breakfast room and back patio.

First, the location is perfect. Kapalua feels like its own secret location. You are 10 minutes from whalers village and 15 from Lahaina. There are tons of trails to walk around the beach and in the resort areas. Never anything far away. The location of the condo was great. Felt more secluded than some of the others and 100 yards to the beach stairs.

Everything was exactly as described. Clean. Breath taking views. Easy parking. Great pools. And the beach area is much more private than see if the busier beaches near.

Highly recommend.

WOW! This place exceeded all my expectations. The view from the lanai is utterly breathtaking. This corner unit feels so private and secluded and the lanai is honestly massive. Best part was sunrise, I loved watching sunrise every morning. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great unit for a couple. Spent a lot of time on the patio with the amazing view. Short walk to a less populated beach. Address was a little confusing - and there are lots of stairs at the property.

Exquisite property in which the pictures do not do it justice. The views and expanses were fantastic and the property certainly embodies the very relaxing and laid back experience you'd expect from a place in Kapalua.

This property is perfect if you want your most difficult question every morning to be "pool, beach or lanai?" The views are amazing and we watched three whales swim by while we drank our morning coffee! The property is clean with great amenities. Furniture is big, comfy and perfect for reading or lounging. There is a market and wonderful restaurants right in the community. We will be back!

We usually stay in a resort environment, but this year opted for a condo for a number of reasons. The online listing was VERY tempting, so we went for it. The unit was everything advertised and more...so beautiful, private and just amazing in every way. My one concern was it’s a ground unit, so you had a flight of stairs to get to the unit. Ordinarily no big deal, but I am getting my hip replaced this month and the stairs posed a real problem for us to get 10 days worth of luggage into the room. One call to the property manager, Jake, and he promptly sent a nice young man to pack our stuff down the stairs. Same thing when we left (sadly!) 10 days later- they were there in minutes and carried the bags up the stairs and even put them in the car. Overall, this place is A+ and we look forward to a longer stay next year.

We cannot say enough about this amazing villa! The pictures do not do justice to the views. We enjoyed 10 days in the villa and all were perfect. Quick walk to the almost private beach. Beach chairs, towels, coolers were all available in the villa to make for a great beach day. Restaurants close by that can be accessed via the on site shuttle service. Merriman's was an excellent restaurant! The villa was appointed with all (and more) that you would ever need for your stay. Very comfortable bed, where you can hear the ocean in the distance. The view is amazingly beautiful and what you see when you first enter the villa. We had no issues during our stay and all communications and questions were quickly answered with detailed information/responses. We're already making plans for our next visit. Did I mention the view....WOW!!

This condo was so nicely decorated and supplied! The kitchen has new appliances and granite counter tops. There is a blow up mattress, plus we bought an extra for our other teen and left it there. They supply large beach towels, an extra blanket, comforter and pillow. The sofa does not pull out. The master bath has a huge vanity and lots of drawers and cupboards. Plenty of towels provided in both bathrooms. The view is spectacular. We did hear that the empty lot next to it has sold and they will be building. It will block most of the view, so I recommend confirming with property management prior to your stay to make sure construction has not begun. We loved being able to walk right down to the beach and beautiful cliffs to see just a short hike. The beach is not safe for swimming, but it is a very short drive to so many beautiful beaches! We loved having our coffee each morning on the chaise lounges provided and having occasional meals at the table outside. This was such a nice condo that we wished we could just live there permanently! Stay here and you will have a wonderful stay! Aloha!

Always a great experience. Location could not be any better!

Clean, up-to-date and nice location. We were a 10-15 minute walk from Kapalua Bay (great snorkeling) in one direction and DT Fleming Beach (very sandy) in the other. Just a short 2-3 minute walk to Ironwood Beach. We ate breakfast and watched for whales from the dining room. Easy drive to other resort areas like Whaler's Village for restaurants and shopping. The kitchen is adequately supplied and nicely updated. The bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The only issues: the wind was loud within the unit, may be an issue if you're a light sleeper. This was not an issue for me, but my wife, who is a light sleeper was awakened a couple time by it. All-in-all we very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

The ocean views from this unit are stunning! And because of where it is situated compared to other villas, it is one of the most private locations you will find in any resort. Even though it's a ground walk-out unit, nobody walks past your windows. The unit got a recent makeover and is very fresh and inviting. We appreciated the updated décor, the clean appliances and very thoughtfully stocked kitchen. There is a nice sturdy outdoor table on the patio, which we enjoyed using for most of our meals. We turned the indoor dining room table into our home office for the week--but it was hard not to be distracted by the gorgeous ocean views! The little general store in the resort is very good for picking up a quick bite, picnic food or some limited groceries (like snacks/coffee/milk). The unit has both a Keurig coffee maker and a drip coffee maker and coffee filters, but you will need to stop by the store for some coffee or bring a little from home. Other than not having any coffee in the unit on our first morning there, our stay was perfect! We have been in many different Bay Villa units, and we will definitely rent this one again!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at this beautiful Bay Villa for the second time. It was a great location and we are looking forward to returning in 2021.The Villa was recently upgraded and it is fully equipped.

Absolutely stunning property. Views were spectacular. The villa itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Wonderful pools on site, close proximity to beaches (just down the steps!). We would return in a heartbeat.

Really enjoyed our stay there. The location was just a short walk to Oneola Beach. They had nice beach chairs, umbrellas, ice chests for drinks and new snorkeling gear.

Best view at Kapalua Bay Villas. Villa was spacious, very clean, very quiet. Landlord was the best to work with. Highly recommend this Villa.

We've stayed at the Kapalua Bay Villas two times previously. This is our first time at this condo. If you are looking for a great location in the Bay Villas this is it. At the end of so quiet yet the same wonderful ocean views. Close location to the beach and boardwalk below the property. Upgraded appliances, furniture, etc. The property owner was very organized providing access codes ahead of our arrival. It was a very smooth vacation rental experience. Look forward to staying here again.

We have stayed here many times over past few years. Condo is as advertised if not better due to recent upgrades. Linda does accommodate your special requests if possible. We will be back again in the future and recommend this property 100% to anyone looking for a nice and memorable vacation in Maui...

The only negative about this place is that it is so nice that you don't want to get out and explore the island much. 🙂

You should be so lucky as to be able to spend some time in this wonderful place. Modern, spotlessly clean, comfortably and attractively furnished, very well maintained, perfect setting and location - and the view alone is worth the price of admission. A wonderful beach (Ironwood) in the backyard, and two more (Kapalua and Fleming) very close by, each offering distinct beach/water experiences. We stayed one week and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was our 2nd family stay at this Kapalua Bay Villa. We had to come back. It is a perfect location to relax with a beautiful oceanfront view, to walk along the coastal trail, or to venture out for fun activities. The unit is stocked with everything you need and the owner is very responsive.

My husband and I have rented several times at the Bay Villas, and we think this villa is the best in terms of what it offers and its price point. The view is fabulous and there is easy access to the seawall walk below the villa (although you do have to navigate stairs).

I was really impressed with how well stocked the kitchen is. A good supply of pots and pans and cooking utensils are provided. There are lots of plates, bowls, cups, and glasses in a variety of sizes. As well, we were happy to find the larder was stocked with oil and vinegar and quite a few other basics that meant we didn't have to start our grocery shopping from scratch.

The place is comfortable, but elegant, and it is very clean. It's also very private. We loved it. Our only reservation is that it loses the sun early in the day. This is common to many of the villas, though. We spent most days outside hiking and swimming. This was a lovely place to come back to.

The condo was very nice. We stayed for an extended vacation, that was very relaxing and beautiful with the breath taking view. Just a few short steps to the beach.

Overall, the place worked great for us! Thank you!

We just returned from a 9 night stay in this condo for our 30th wedding anniversary. Great location, updated and and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful but close enough to get to the crowded beaches if that\'s where you\'d like to spend your days - you can take the complex shuttle to the nearby beaches for no extra charge. View is terrific, plenty of room with two baths. Our college age kids joined us later in the week and the air mattress and couch came in handy for them. Hope to make it back!

The Villa decor is updated and master bath is very nice. However, our stay did not start smoothly. We arrived in the evening after many hours traveling. First the code given to us for check in did not work. We contacted the property manager and he promptly supplied new code. Next, the temperature inside was 80 degrees and could not get the unit to go on. Called property manager at 10pm and walked through how to set it. Next morning air was still not working so called the property manager and advised he would send repair man over. Safe was not working and evidently needed new batteries but electrician that was also sent out could not open to put batteries in. At about 3:30pm the repair men got the air conditioning running. The phones were also not working as they needed batteries but never complained about this. The Villa and views are lovely and hopefully their will be more thorough maintenance checks in the future. The property manager was professional and did react quickly to all complaints.

We had a wonderful time in Maui. This location was excellent and the property was very nice. We had only one issue with an outlet blowing but I contacted the management office and they sent someone the same day.

The only negative I would say was that the stove was dirty and the place really needed to be dusted but otherwise no issues.

We would stay again.

The overall property and location is excellent. The unit has a fantastic unobstructed view of the ocean. Good for a couple to stay at. This was our second consecutive year at this specific property unit. Some of the appliances and furnishings are getting a little worn.

When we walked into the unit we both said "Wow." It was a beautiful unit with a beautiful view. We liked the location, amenities and access to the beach. The property is clean, well-maintained and the staff provided excellent customer service. We will stay here again, just not in September. The weather is too unpredictable. The Oneloa Bay beach in front of the unit is a good surfing beach however, for good snorkeling you will need to walk down to Kapalua Bay beach or take a snorkel boat up to Honoloa Bay. Our favorite restaurant is the Sea House which is very close by the unit.

My wife and I just returned from our second stay (late August) in 18G2 and will definitely return to this unusually elegant vacation home because where we stay on our vacations is as important to us as the activities we choose. We love having morning coffee and breakfast on the very private lanai listening to the peaceful sounds of the waves breaking on the beach at Oneola Bay just below. We love that the elegance of the finish and decor of the home refuse to compete with the comfortable atmosphere you feel from the day you arrive to the day you depart. We love snorkeling or just hanging out on the beach at world class Kapalua Bay....just a ten minute walk (we walk slowly and enjoy the view) away. In short, we love everything about Linda\'s 18G2 vacation home and recommend it to anyone who enjoys the finer things in life.

This is the fifth time my husband and I have stayed at Kapalua. This particular condo has a wonderful view, with excellent furnishings. The owner, Linda, was very accomodating and wonderful to work with. We were very happy with this condo and would not hesitate to recommend it. J & P N.H.

Beautiful potential in pretty disapointing condition

Unit was very dirty and in ill repair. 1 stove burner not working, other unpredictable due to stripped dials. Dishes were filthy, (coffe drips, lipstick etc.)we had to clean every one we used. Approved early checkin resulted in maid not being done, and we did the laundry as she would have taken several more hours. Icemaker was clogged (so we purchased our own)and freezer door leaked on floor (maid had placed paper towels to soak up), and most louvered screens inoperable due to broken handles. Bugs everywhere in kitchen (stove side mostly). Cushions on living room chairs worn out with no support. We enjoyed our time despite all, but this unit is very tired, housekeeping is horrible, and it needs work on floors, base boards, furniture, appliances, maintenance etc. to justify its cost. Lastly- need a BBQ closer (maybe on lawn along fence in front of units) as one is virtually not available being so far away presently.

I have been to Maui a number of times and could not have been happier staying at this Kapalua Bay Villa. My daughter and I stayed a week for her 21st birthday. She was also delighted with our choice. Linda, the owner, was a delight to deal with.

The pictures do not even come close to the beauty of the property. The ocean views were breath taking and the snorkeling was amazing. The beach is so close and very private. The condo definitely has all the comforts of home. There wasn't anything else we needed for our stay. The grounds are gorgeous and so peaceful, it is definitely a great place to unwind.

We were not expecting a large no. of steps heading down to the front door. We were not expecting to walk down so many steps to get to Fleming Beach. It really was not "beach front" as described. Not recommended for people over 70 yrs of age. The door code did not work upon arrival.

We stayed at this condo for a short 2 nights and would love to come back for a longer stay. we have been going to Maui every year for the last 10 years and stayed a lot of places, this one is high on my list.

The condo is nicer than the picture show. The master bath is huge. I wasn't sure about the colors (just looking at the pics) but it is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is stocked with all the equipment you will need or want.

What we loved the most was that the condo was ground level and we could walk right down to the beach. ( The only draw back I could see is if you have an issue with stairs, there are quite a few from the parking area down to the condo.)

The owner is a pleasure to work with and made every effort to make our stay easy. I would highly recommend renting this condo.

This is an amazing property, with all the comforts of home. We were 2 adults and 2 children (8 & 4), and loved every minute there. The pullout sofa was perfect for the kids and the master bed was so comfortable. Linda was an excellent owner who always helped answer any questions we had and provided many great suggestions for restaurants and shopping. This part of Maui may be more breezy than others but in no way does this affect how we felt about the condo or the area. We so preferred this part of the island it was breathtaking. We were lucky to see a pod of 5 whales right from the living room one afternoon.

The Kapalua grounds, coastal walkway, 2 golf courses, the 3 walk able beaches, 15 mins to Lahania, this place and location has it all. After 3 days our children asked if we can stay longer, they loved the condo and the amazing views. They kept on saying wasn't it nice that Linda let us use her home! 🙂

The condo is furnished will all top of the line appliances and high quality furniture and fixtures. Well equipped kitchen, and there was a closet with some boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and beach gear.

Having spent many weeks searching sites for a place to stay in Maui, this property by far is the best one to get your bang for your buck. I could not be more satisfied with the rate and the value we received, I do feel like we got the best deal in Maui.

After scouring VRBO listings for Maui we finally decided on the Beautiful Oceanfront Kapalua Bay Villa. We are so glad we did. There's no way to describe how absolutely perfect this place is. First: the location - perched above a pristine beach, with an amazing, scenic walking trail to more beaches, one being a great snorkeling spot - it doesn't get any better. Second: the villa - it's exquisitely comfortable and beautifully designed and outfitted. It's the most comfortable VRBO we have ever stayed in. Third: Linda - she's fantastic to work with. Linda, if you're reading this - THANK YOU! We will definitely be back to Kapalua Bay Villa. For anyone else who scours VRBO listings this is the one to choose in Maui. We can't wait to return.

We were absolutely thrilled with this Kapalua Bay Villa. The views are astounding, the stylish furnishings are bright and happy, and the kitchen and baths elegant. It\'s perfectly comfy for a family of 4- we have never experienced such a luxurious bed- even at The Ritz! The lovely Hawaiian tradewinds provided the only AC we ever needed. I could go on and on...
